Every breeding decision is made thoughtfully, with careful consideration given to temperament, structure, production, and genetic compatibility.

Our breeding programme incorporates both fullblood Nigerian Dwarf goat goats and percentage Nigerian Dwarfs because we believe true quality is determined by phenotype, functionality, and consistency of type — not percentages alone. While pedigree percentages are important and certainly considered within our breeding decisions, they are only one component of a well-rounded dairy animal.

A goat may be purebred or fullblood yet still lack the structural correctness, dairy character, mammary quality, or production capacity expected of an outstanding representative of the breed. Conversely, carefully selected percentage animals can contribute exceptional traits developed through generations of selective breeding within well-established Australian Miniature lines — particularly in areas such as udder attachment, teat structure, milking functionality, body capacity, and overall hardiness.

Our focus is on breeding Nigerian Dwarfs that conform strongly to breed standards while also excelling as practical dairy animals. Correct conformation, sound structure, balanced dairy character, productive mammary systems, and longevity are prioritised above percentage figures alone. By thoughtfully blending established South Australian dairy miniature genetics with proven Nigerian Dwarf bloodlines, we aim to preserve the charm and refinement of the breed while continually strengthening milk production, udder quality, and overall functionality for future generations.

Above all, we are deeply passionate about the welfare, quality, and long-term development of our animals. We take pedigree integrity seriously and are proudly registered with both the Miniature Goat Australia (MGA) and the Dairy Goat Society of Australia (DGSA), providing purchasers with confidence in the quality, traceability, and breeding standards of the dairy animals we produce.
