Terms of service.

The following information is to assist you in purchasing goats from us and is to protect both ourselves and yourself.

  1. Legally, we cannot sell goats without the new owners having a PIC number for their property. Your PIC number will need to be supplied to us BEFORE you purchase the goat.

  2. If you are purchasing your first goats from us and do not have any others at home, you will need to purchase a minimum of two goats. One goat will lead a miserable life without its own herd - other animals and/or humans are not good replacements. We cannot, in good conscience, sell a goat to a property where they will not have at least one other goat as a companion.

  3. We will ask questions about fencing and housing at your property. It is vital that goats have a solid enscloure and good fencing - this keeps them happy and healthy. Additionally, goats that have their needs met are much less likely to escape or attempt to escape - keeping you happy! If we find you aren’t quite ready, we will support and advise you where we can to assist you so that you can be as prepared as you can!

  4. All goats purchased are registered with Miniature Goats Australia (MGA). We are also registered with the Nigerian Dwarf Goat Society of Australia (NDGSA). If you wish to register with another goat association, we are more than happy to help you with this process.

  5. Once you have committed to a purchase, we will ask for non-refundable 20% deposit. You will have 24 hours to pay this deposit. If no deposit has been received during this time, we will communicate with you that we can no longer keep the animal on hold. This is to deter those that ask for animals to be held only to admit weeks later that they don’t have intention of purchasing because of certain circumstances.

  6. Costs of goats:

    • Australian Miniature and Nigerian Dwarf wethers (castrated boys) - $350

    • Australian Miniature does (females) - $750+

    • Nigerian Dwarf does (females) - depends on percentage, but $875+

    • Australian Miniature bucks (we sell to breeders only, not as pets) - $POA

    • Nigerian Dwarf bucks (we sell to breeders only, not as pets) - $POA

      All animals listed will have their exact price for sale and prices are non-negotiable. All prices are GST inclusive.

  7. You will receive an Information pack from us containing helpful information for your new purchase. Furthermore, you will always have life-long access to support from us as you either begin your venture or continue your journey!
