Our Boys

    Cielo ND 75

BDF Cielo was our very first Nigerian Dwarf, purchased in 2022 and marking the beginning of our journey with this exceptional breed. He carries influential First Fleet genetics alongside imported Castle Rock bloodlines from the United States, combining proven pedigree with outstanding breed character.

Cielo exhibits excellent structural correctness, with a strong escutcheon arch, powerful forequarters, and a well-developed neck, all contributing to his impressive overall presence and masculinity. Despite his strength and substance, he retains the clean lines, refinement, and angularity indicative of quality dairy breeding. His balance of power and dairy character has made him an invaluable foundation sire within our programme.

    Jack Daniels ND 100

Kirrasumm Kidz Jack Daniels is an Australian Champion buck, titled by the Kirrasumm Kidz stud in recognition of his exceptional structural quality, balance, and breed character. He displays outstanding width, depth of body, muscling, and strong, correct pasterns, giving him both impressive presence and functional correctness.

His pedigree combines influential First Fleet breeding with renowned United States bloodlines from Castle Rock, Pecan Knoll, and Dav-Lyn — genetics that have played an important role in the development of quality Nigerian Dwarfs within Australia. As our first fullblood acquisition, Jack Daniels has already become a pivotal sire within our developing herd, contributing strength, substance, and excellent breed type to the next generation.

  • Magpie ND 100

Green Hills Magpie is our first home-bred fullblood Nigerian Dwarf buck, being the first son retained from Kirrasumm Kidz Rosè and sired by First Fleet Goodnight — a pedigree once again combining some of the strongest First Fleet and Castle Rock genetics available within Australia.

Although still under a year of age, Magpie is developing exceptionally well and is already displaying many of the qualities for which his sire and paternal littermates are known, including a strong brisket, desirable angulation, structural correctness, and a powerful topline. With both sire and dam carrying excellent mammary genetics, we are excited to see these traits continue through Magpie’s future progeny and contribution to our breeding programme. His name continues the theme established by his sire, First Fleet Goodnight, reflecting both his heritage and place within our herd.

Other Bucks

We work closely alongside Briar Rose Farm in a collaborative breeding programme, sharing selected sires to strengthen and diversify the genetics within both herds. The bucks below form an important part of our breeding programme and are already demonstrating a strong and positive influence in the quality, structure, and dairy characteristics of their progeny:

Colourful Knight Rider ND 96.1 - shared ownership

BDF Cohen ND 87.5 - owned by Briar Rose (now deceased)
